An invitation letter on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people was handed over to the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia
On April 14, 2025, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Croatia with residence in Romania A. Annaev and the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia Mr. Neven Pelikaric.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador noted that 2025 is a significant year for Turkmenistan, as the country celebrates three decades of its neutrality status, which coincides with the "International Year of Peace and Trust" - an initiative of Turkmenistan, supported by international communities, which has become a clear expression of recognition of Turkmenistan's activities aimed at ensuring global peace and sustainable development.
Then A. Annaev conveyed to Neven Pelikaric an invitation to the President of Croatia Mr. Zoran Milanovic on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to a representative forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The Ambassador also emphasized the role of high-level visits, which act as a solid foundation for the comprehensive and consistent development of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the parties noted the positive dynamics of the development of relations and the existing prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Croatia. Noting their commitment to expanding further cooperation, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
