On March 26, 2025, together with the Embassies of Turkmenistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Turkiye in Bucharest, with the assistance of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest, an annual exhibition-fair dedicated to the celebration of the International Day of Novruz was organized. Each country organized a national stand within the framework of the exhibition-fair.

As part of the festive program, the grand opening of the exhibition-fair took place, at which the organizers made a speech. The speakers unanimously noted that centuries and millennia pass, but the role of this holiday, which has crossed historical boundaries, is still important in the lives of many peoples. Remaining an unfading pearl, it continues to give us the joy of beauty and goodness, with all its living essence calling for friendship, brotherhood, unity, new achievements.

After the speeches, videos of the participating countries were broadcast on how each country celebrates Novruz. In the videos of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, the guests got acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of our country, about the festive events held in Turkmenistan dedicated to the arrival of Novruz, about Turkmen folklore art and national dances, such as kushtdepdi.

The main part of the event was the national exhibition held in the Museum, dedicated to the cultural heritage of the participating countries. At the stand of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, elements of the cultural heritage and economic achievements of our country were presented to visitors. Guests of the Museum were given the opportunity to get acquainted with national costumes, traditional handicrafts and embroideries of Turkmen craftswomen. A special place in the exhibition hall was given to Turkmen carpets and musical instruments.

The rich cultural and historical heritage of our country, the spirit of the Turkmen people, traditions and customs were conveyed to the participants of the exhibition through colorful photographs. Visitors also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific works of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as other published information materials about the country.

The gallery of traditions was closed by the section "Novruz Cuisine", which demonstrated the national cuisine of all participating countries.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of official bodies of Romania and heads of the diplomatic corps, public figures, residents of Bucharest, media representatives, as well as students studying at universities in Bucharest.
