Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania organized a presentation of the new books.

On January 31, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania organized a presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Mahtumkuli –  the Sage  of the World", a new work by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Hakyda göwheri" ("Jewel of the Mind") a literary meeting was held, as well as an exhibition of books by Makhtumkuli Fragi, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The event was attended by representatives of the media, Turkmen students and citizens of Turkmenistan living in Romania.

During the presentation it was noted that the book "Mahtumkuli - the Sage  of the World", comprehensively reveals the significance and role of the poet in the history of the Turkmen people, his contribution to world literature. The book reflects scientific work on the study of the life and work of the thinker, the importance of the poet's wise instructions in strengthening world peace. The poet's unique skill, his wise instructions, the education in the youth of the love for their homeland and people inherited from their ancestors, works imbued with eternity and philosophical meaning, about which the author writes and shares with readers various materials and thoughts about the inexhaustible literary world of Fragi. The book places special emphasis on the fact that the literary heritage of Makhtumkuli Fragi predetermined the basis of Turkmenistan's foreign policy and, as the author of the book notes, the proclamation of the UN General Assembly Resolution 2025 - "International Year of Peace and Trust" initiated by our country is based on Mahtumkuli's humanistic ideas, which correspond to the main goals of the UN to establish lasting peace throughout the world.

The Ambassador especially noted the expectations of the current generation of patriotism, the desire for knowledge and service to the fatherland in the name of strengthening and prosperity of Turkmenistan.

During the event, representatives of the Embassy acquainted the participants with the new work "Jewel of the Mind" by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

It was stated that in the book, the National Leader speaks about the influence of the works of the Turkmen thinker and poet Mahtumkuli Fragi on universal values, about the reflection of our glorious history and the contribution of our culture to world civilization. He also wrote in detail about the culture of Anau, the civilizations of Altyndepe and Ancient Margiana that flourished in the Bronze Age, the Great Seljuk State founded by the Turkmens, and the state of Khorezmshahs, which became the adornment of world history. According to this data, the Turkmens have followed the principles of peace since ancient times and effectively applied preventive diplomacy.

Speekers  noted that the wise thoughts and scientifically based views expressed by the National Leader about our past and history have become an exemplary book for young people. Because it is worth noting that he describes our past history based on national pride, and that every line of the book is filled with pride and joy for our past and history. During the event, students recited poems by the great classic of Turkmen literature in English.
