The working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan has begun

On April 21, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Regional Environmental Summit and the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

At Ashgabat International Airport, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was seen off by official representatives.

A few hours later, the aircraft of the President of Turkmenistan landed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana. A guard of honor was lined up along both sides of the carpeted pathway.

At the airport, decorated with the State flags of the Summit’s participating countries, the Head of state was warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and members of the Turkmen delegation.
