AN ONLINE MEETING WAS HELD BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF TURKMENISTAN AND PRAVOV CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY.

On February 21, 2023, with the assistance of the Embassy, an online meeting was organized between representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Prahov Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In order to get acquainted with the economic opportunities of the parties.

   During the meeting were considered issues of inter-chamber cooperation, opportunities for developing cooperation between the business circles of Turkmenistan and Prahov in various fields.

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan introduced the development of the economy and investment opportunities of Turkmenistan; implemented investment projects.

The following were identified as potential areas for cooperation: food industry, agriculture, textile industry, building materials, petrochemical industry, etc.

In addition, it was once again noted that the Turkmen side was interested in establishing transport and logistics cooperation in order to increase the export potential of the two countries, as well as in identifying partners for cooperation in exports from Turkmenistan to Romania and further re-export of Turkmen products to other European countries.
