The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in TIIF-2026 in Tashkent

On June 16-18, 2026, a delegation headed by N. Agahanov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, took part in the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026) held in Tashkent.

The openin ceremony of the forum was attended by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President of Albania, Prime-ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan and many other government representatives, as well as representatives of the US business community and leaders of international financial institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the BRICS New Development Bank, the Eurasian Development Bank and other international development institutions.

Participants of the forum discussed issues related to the development of the energy sector, transport connectivity, the digital economy and artificial intelligence, the development of mineral and raw material resources, ensuring food security, as well as improving modern financial mechanisms and investment instruments.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the forum reflects Turkmenistan’s consistent commitment to promoting mutually beneficial regional and international cooperation, strengthening trade and economic ties, and expanding investment partnerships.
