A round table on Turkmenistan's anniversary of neutrality was organized in Bucharest

On January 22, 2020, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, together with the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, organized a round table entitled “Scientific-technical policy of Neutral Turkmenistan: importance of Turkmen- Romanian relations”.

A delegation of the University of Engineering and Technology named after Oguz Khan, led by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs H. Kadyrov arrived to Romania from Turkmenistan.

The round table was attended by the leadership of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, professors and teachers of faculties, Turkmen students studying in Romania, as well as a delegation of the University of Engineering and Technology named after Oguz Khan.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania took the floor, who informed about the celebration on December 12, 2020 of the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and about the initiative of Turkmenistan according to which 12 th of December was declared as International Day of Neutrality. In this regard, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Romanian side for supporting this initiative.

As part of his speech, the head of the Turkmen delegation invited the Romanian side to take part in the events to be held in Turkmenistan this year as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
